Barry Kyokushin has been under the the excellent tuition of Sensei Richard Males for over 3 decades. This has been the strength that has kept the club going for so long and it comes as a shock to all that Sensei Richard has announced his Retirement from Kyokushin Karate.
Taking on this massive responsibility or running Barry Kyokushin is Senpai Phill Sedgmond. Senpai Phill has been teaching Kyokushin Karate for over 5 years and has been Sensei Richards most promising student. It is Senpai Phill's aim to maintain the high level of tuition that Sensei Richard has provided over the decades, to continue to train himself and achieve further dan grades so that his students keep getting 1st class tuition.

What we do...
We will teach you ALL aspects of Kyokushin Karate, Self Defence applications and various weapons training. We have opportunities for our students to compete, locally, nationally and internationally in many forms of fighting ( Non contact, Semi Contact, Full Contact, Kata, etc etc).
No expensive grading fee's, No expensive training fee's, but if your looking to get a black belt in a short space of time, please go elsewhere. People who train with us train for years to achieve such a grade, this is why the Kyokushin dan grade is so prestigious.
Kyokushin Karate is for everyone, from the young to the old. you get out of Kyokushin what you put in.
